🌿 Let’s Talk About Postpartum Depression (PPD) 🌿

Having a baby brings big changes—emotionally, physically, and spiritually. But sometimes, those changes feel overwhelming.
If you’re struggling after birth, know this: you are not alone.

👉 What is PPD?
Postpartum Depression is a mood disorder that can affect women after childbirth. It’s more than just “baby blues.” It can feel like sadness, anxiety, numbness, or disconnection—and it can begin days, weeks, or even months after delivery.

Signs to watch for:
• Feeling hopeless or constantly overwhelmed
• Loss of interest in things you once enjoyed
• Trouble bonding with your baby
• Mood swings or frequent crying
• Changes in sleep or appetite
• Thoughts of self-harm or harm to your baby

✨ APRIL'S STORY ✨
“I felt so alone. I had no plan. No peace. I didn’t even think I had a future…”

When April walked through the doors of The Bridge, she believed her life was an accident—without purpose or direction. But God had other plans.

At The Bridge Wellness South, April found more than just medical care—she found hope. 💛 When she saw her baby’s heartbeat on the ultrasound screen, something shifted. What felt like chaos was replaced by clarity. Her future suddenly looked different.

Because of YOU—our donors and prayer warriors—April was reminded that her life (and her baby’s) was created on purpose, for a purpose.
