Updated timing graphic: Snow showers were 1-3 hours delayed this morning but are still expected today. With the new timing, east-central Georgia is likely to begin seeing snowfall in the mid to late morning before continuing into the evening timeframe. North Georgia will continue to see snowfall through the morning and into the mid to late afternoon. Heavier accumulations in the 3-6 inch range are still expected over eastern Georgia in bands of snowfall, with 0.5-3 inches expected as you go westward.

Today, January 9, 2026, is National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. On this day, we honor the brave men and women who wear the badge for our department. There are not enough words to adequately thank them for what they do; however, we want to assure our officers that we value and support them. To our Henry County Police Officers, thank you for serving our community.
