A message to the Stockton Shoulder family--
I wanted to offer my best wishes and support to everyone during this difficult time as we unite in the fight against COVID-19.
For now, Alpine Orthopaedics/Stockton Shoulder Institute is doing everything we can to both protect our staff and also continue to serve the needs of our amazing patients.
1) For all urgent appointments the office is open weekday mornings from 8-12PM for in-person office visits. We ask that you limit these visits to visits that fall into the category of truly "urgent" (fracture care, post-surgical follow-ups within 2 months of your procedure, traumatic injuries)
2) For all non-urgent ("elective") appointments, we have implemented a system of telephone/video appointments at Alpine Orthopaedics/Stockton Shoulder Institute to continue to treat as many patients as possible while we are on shelter-in-place restrictions. I ask for your patience & forgiveness as we work out the "kinks" in this new telemedicine system since it is new for all of us.
3) In speaking with several of my patients this past week. it has become clear that many of you are seeking medical guidance in this difficult time. I am planning on hosting a webinar on Tuesday afternoon (March 24th) to chat with anyone from the the Stockton Shoulder community who has questions about the COVID situation (this does not necessarily have to be a shoulder-related question!). Details to follow.
We thank everyone for your shared commitment at this time and I am confident that we will beat this TOGETHER!
With love,
Jai Iyengar
