We loved having Adrienne and Max stop by our hospice office yesterday! 🐾
A huge shout-out to Adrienne, one of our longtime pet therapy volunteers, who supports Hospice of San Joaquin in so many meaningful ways. From spending time with patients to bringing comfort at Camp Caterpillar and special events, Adrienne and Max truly make a difference in the lives they touch. We are so grateful for all you do! 💙

🐛 Camp Caterpillar Registration Is Open!

A free, one-day grief camp for children ages 5–13 who have experienced the death of a loved one within the past two years.

Through fun activities, campers learn they are not alone in their grief or the changes they’re facing. Children discover that grief isn’t about forgetting, it’s about remembering with less pain.

Date: March 7, 2026
Location: Lodi, CA
Time: 8:30 am – 1:00 pm.
Free & open to the public, Lunch provided

✨ JoAnn Romero has been highly involved with Hospice of San Joaquin and brings a wealth of skills to our Volunteer Program.

She comes into the office weekly to assist with Full-Circle Aftercare, ensuring families are contacted and supported. JoAnn has helped with Tree of Lights, Bereavement calls, and community outreach. She is also an active member of the Butterfly Auxiliary and generously lends a hand with fundraising and special events.

💛 Kidz Korner at World of Wonders 💛
*Free Event*
Kidz Korner is a safe and supportive place for grieving children to meet new friends who have also experienced the loss of a loved one. Through art, play, games, and storytelling, children are given space to express their feelings, connect with others, and learn healthy ways to begin feeling better.
Join us on January 31st at the World of Wonders Science Museum in Lodi for this special Kidz Korner event designed to support children and families through healing and connection.
💛 Because no child should grieve alone.
