Nursing home week continues Tuesday was more of a self-directed independent activity day. We all need days of a little R&R. Wednesday morning, we were blessed with the presence of Gwen and Sue, plus Bev on the piano. That afternoon we were pleasantly surprised with several bouquets of flowers donated by Alta, which we ended up, putting together smaller bouquets for each of our tables, and throughout the building. We ended Wednesday with a family game night which let me tell you that was a blast. The laughing and conversations were priceless.

National Nursing Home Week is here, and we’re finding joy in the small things this year. A hand held, a laugh shared, family and friends filling the room. The real moments in bloom!
Day 1 we started our morning with the daily grind satisfying our coffee needs. The kitchen made some delicious pancakes! Then ventured outdoors to plant flowers, ended our day painting coasters and reminiscing.
