Thank you St. Joseph’s family! Over 1,500 gifts were deployed to local children in need during our annual Adopt-A-Child events. For over 40 years, St. Joseph’s staff has been partnering with local nonprofits to make holiday magic for some of the most vulnerable members of our community. This year, we partnered with CAPC of San Joaquin County , San Joaquin County Human Services Agency PREVAIL St. Mary's Community Services Native CORE and Haven of Peace . This annual tradition is a highlight for St. Joseph’s staff, Foundation Board, and supporters alike.
Special thanks to Mid Cal Moving & Storage Company, Agent for Bekins Van Lines for helping deliver the holiday magic and to MHA RDR Builders who helped out and donated gifts for 10 children.

St. Joseph’s legacy began in 1899 under the leadership of the Dominican Sisters of San Rafael.
No one present that day in 1899 could have likely imagined that the 25 bed, $35,000 home and hospital would grow into today’s 355 bed medical center with a history of firsts in cardiac, cancer, women’s and children’s, and emergency services, and now a major training center for physicians.
Just as the original opening of St. Joseph’s was a gift to our community, we remain committed to serving the needs of our community – today – and well into the future.
Despite vast changes and advancements in medicine and technology, St. Joseph’s continues to live out our mission of serving and advocating for our brothers and sisters who are poor and disenfranchised and partnering with others in the community to improve the quality of life.
Without the contributions of caring community supporters - like you - we would not be in the position to fulfill our mission and provide more than $177 million over the last five years in charity care, community services, and unreimbursed patient care for the poor and vulnerable.
Every dollar you give stays in our community. Thank you for your support.
