A little late posting this because life has been very busy lately between my kids, rotations, residency applications, and research — but I still wanted to share this special milestone.
Finally, this day has arrived: I am officially getting my ECFMG Certificate. ✨

This journey was full of challenges, sacrifices, sleepless nights, pregnancy, motherhood, and many moments of doubt… but the beautiful thing is that I am still here, still pushing forward.

I want to thank God first, my husband for always believing in me, my children for their patience, my parents for their unconditional support, my sisters, my brother-in-law Ronal, and my mother-in-law for always being there for me and helping me through this journey. I also want to thank the amazing PIMG MADRES community and all the friends and study partners who became part of this process.

This certificate represents years of hard work and perseverance. It was not easy, but every sacrifice was worth it. This is only the beginning. 🤍

While the world is still sleeping, a mother is already awake. Sleepy eyes, messy hair, and my baby in my arms.
Some days I’m a doctor chasing big dreams.
Some days I’m just a mom awake at 5 a.m. breastfeeding her baby.
Both roles are part of the same story…a story of love, sacrifice, and doing everything for my family.
And honestly, these quiet early mornings with my baby might be the most important moments of all. 🩷👶

Mientras el mundo todavía duerme, una mamá ya está despierta. Ojos cansados, el cabello desordenado y mi bebé en mis brazos.
Algunos días soy una doctora persiguiendo grandes sueños. Otros días solo soy una mamá despierta a las 5 a.m. alimentando a su bebé.
Ambos roles son parte de la misma historia…una historia de amor, sacrificio y de hacerlo todo por mi familia.
Y sinceramente, estas madrugadas tranquilas con mi bebé podrían ser los momentos más importantes de todos. 🩷👶

We got a new puppy 🐶

My son named him “Amigo”, which means friend… and honestly, the name fits perfectly.

He’s already stolen our hearts, our socks, and apparently anything he can find in my backpack 😅
