A CT (computed tomography) scan is an imaging test that helps healthcare providers detect diseases and injuries. It uses a series of X-rays and a computer to create detailed images of your bones and soft tissues.

💞✨5 ways to prepare for your upcoming mammogram screening. 💞✨

+ Mark your calendar and make sure you are on time to the appointment. Be sure to carve out about an hour to give you enough time to arrive, get changed and complete all your paperwork.

+ Do not wear lotions, perfumes, deodorants or anti-perspirant on the day of your mammogram.

+ Jewelry must around your neck and chest must be removed for your mammogram. Do your best to leave any jewelry or other valuables at home to avoid any lost or misplaced items.

+ Wear a top that is easy to remove. Avoid wearing dresses or one-piece outfits to your exam.

+ Don’t forget to bring your insurance card and ID to the appointment. We want to know it’s you and ensure you have a pleasant experience with us at Valley MRI & Radiology. 💞✨
