Wow, what a great couple of days we have had! We really are enjoying this beautiful weather, and we always love it when the JAG students come for some fun. Thursday was Chocolate Caramel Day, so we made crafts using Caramel as glue and decorated with chocolate. And of course, Friday afternoon Bocce ball.

The new Lake Stockton Healthcare Facility offers numerous amenities including: private and two-bedroom suites for short- and long-term stays with flat screen TVs, restrooms and walk-in showers; a memory care wing with private and two-bedroom suites with flat screen TVs and restrooms for individuals with dementia; three spa-like rooms with side-entry jetted tubs and private shower areas for residents needing assistance; an advanced therapy gym for physical and occupational therapy and a private space for speech therapy; living rooms on every wing with fireplaces, flat screen TVs, comfortable chairs and recliners; courtyards and two gazebos; full-service salon; dining rooms with individualized meal planning; café; activity room with daily planned activities; laundry services; 24-hour security system; and Wi-Fi.

The skilled nursing staff can provide care to individuals with complex health conditions including: stroke recovery; knee and joint replacement; congestive heart failure (CHF); chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD); complex wound care; Parkinson’s care; Alzheimer’s care; and intravenous therapy. Additionally, Lake Stockton has scheduled visits from physicians and collaborative medical staff to provide care to residents at the facility.
