San Joaquin Medical Society As a member of SJMS and CMA, physicians receive many benefits, including discounts, practice resources, networking and leadership opportunities.

Since 1874, the San Joaquin Medical Society, in conjunction with the California Medical Association, has convened physicians from every medical specialty and practice setting to promote the science and art of medicine, the care and well-being of patients, the protection of the public health and the betterment of the medical profession. Even more importantly, they are part of a large and diverse group that has a powerful legislative impact on the future of medicine and their ability to treat patients as they see fit. What a Day! ❤️‍🔥

The San Joaquin Medical Society hosted its Inaugural Fall Healthcare Symposium — Cardiology Updates for Non-Cardiologists on September 27, 2025, at the Hilton Stockton.

This first-ever event was a tremendous success — bringing together physicians, mid-level providers, fellows & residents for a day of engaging, practical education led by an outstanding lineup of speakers. Attendees earned 6.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ while connecting with colleagues and local partners who share a passion for advancing patient care.

A huge thank-you to our faculty, sponsors, and attendees who made this inaugural symposium such a success. We’re already planning next year’s event — stay tuned for details on our 2026 Fall Healthcare Symposium!
