Grief doesn’t follow a straight line—and neither does healing.

Books can offer a quiet kind of support…

Whether you’re navigating loss or supporting someone who is, resources like this can help create space for understanding, reflection, and healing.

You don’t have to have it all figured out.
You’re allowed to move at your own pace.
Your grief is your own — and it matters.

If you’re needing support, we’re here for you.

ℹ️ | About Lisa:
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I am passionate about supporting teens and adults as they navigate challenges related to anxiety, depression, self-esteem, school stress, and life transitions.

My clinical experience includes working in a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), where I provided intensive support to individuals facing complex emotional and behavioral challenges. This work strengthened my ability to meet clients with compassion, steadiness, and a trauma-informed approach—especially during times of crisis or change.

I strive to create a calm, nonjudgmental space where individuals can explore patterns, strengthen relationships, and move through life’s challenges with greater clarity and confidence.

My approach is person-centered and strength-based, incorporating evidence-based practices such as DBT, CBT, and Solution-Focused Therapy. My goal is to support clients in building resilience, developing practical skills, and creating meaningful, lasting change.

March is National Social Work Month, a time to recognize the dedication and compassion of social workers who support individuals, families, and communities every day.

Social workers play an essential role in mental health care, advocacy, crisis support, and overall community well-being. Their work helps individuals navigate life’s challenges with care, dignity, and support.

At My Psych Center, we are grateful for the meaningful contributions social workers make in helping people feel seen, supported, and empowered.

Seeking support is a sign of strength. Mental health care can help build resilience, develop coping skills, and navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence.

Mental health isn’t always serious — sometimes it’s relatable, imperfect, and even a little funny.

EMDR helps the brain process what once felt overwhelming — without needing to relive every detail out loud.

It’s not about erasing the past.
It’s about helping your mind and body respond differently to it.

Healing can feel quieter than you expect.

As the month comes to a close, take a moment to reflect.

Growth isn’t always loud or visible. Sometimes it looks like getting through a difficult day, setting a boundary, asking for help, or simply continuing forward.

No matter how small it may seem, your efforts matter.

Take a moment to acknowledge what you’re proud of.

A piece of crumpled lined paper is centered with handwritten text that reads, “What moments, big or small, am I proud of from this month?” The design includes subtle decorative elements and the My Psych Center logo at the bottom.
