To my mother Sally Wall, August 13th, is not just any day; it's the day that the world was blessed that Sally was born. We and we include so so many ( brothers, sisters, daughters, Son in laws, grandchildren, great grandchildren nieces nephews and friends) that love and miss you so much! You were such a light and a big presence in our lives and I cannot even begin to tell you how much I / we miss you. I woke up today knowing that it was a special day that I have celebrated for so many years....except today there was no celebration with you here with us. We all know that the amazing person that you were will remain in our hearts and minds forever. I love and miss you so much Momie! We were SO very blessed to have had you for 92 years and I know you are looking down on all of us with that big smile of yours!

Update on Momie
Praise God for the Drs at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center in Camden NJ. Momie was rushed there on Super bowl Sunday for dehydration. She had been refusing to eat or drink while at the nursing home. The nursing home had been giving her too many antipsychotic meds for delirium(she should never have been given ANY)!
The psychiatric team at OLOL took her off of all antipsychotic medications and totally detoxed her for 12 days. They had a sitter with her 24/7 the entire time since they had no idea how she could handle withdrawal. She was fine pretty much slept the entire 1 st week, they continued UV fluids and ran a multitude of tests, MRI. CAT scans EEGs to detect any brain malfunctions (because of her acute mental status) Everything was ok, she was slowly returning back during her stay there.
On Friday we found another nursing home ( subacute) facility only 20 minutes from us. The drive to Camden was 2 hrs each way and was very difficult for Tommy and myself and we thank god for helping us to find :

For now I am keeping the Logan Banner Obits away from her since her mind is still fragile and we have no idea how she can handle the recent news of her beloveds friends passing.

Hello from Karla,
After 3 long weeks and 3 visits to the Emergency room they have finally admitted Momie to the hospital. Her confusion, depression, anxiety and behavior is being attributed to a very bad UTI infection. This was treated with oral antibiotics after the first ER visit, it did not improve and we got a false negative the 2nd ER visit and we were turned away. We went back yesterday and they finally listened. She is getting antibiotics intravenously in order to get better. They are checking to make sure that it has not gotten into the bloodstream and is sepsis. If your loved one becomes disoriented and starts to exhibit abnormal changes in their behavior something as simple as a UTI could be the cause and can become life threatening.
Please pray for Momie and our family, may God's Blessing be with each and every one of you.

We cannot believe the outpouring of wonderful good wishes that you have all sent to mom! She has read each and every one of your posts and remembers so many of you! We will try to sit down and write some responses ( there’s a lot of posts and it’ll take me a few days lol! We want to wish all of you a wonderful new year and a very very Merry. Christmas !

Hello all of Sally’s fans!! This is Karla ( her daughter). My momma is now 91 years old and she’s doing well physically but emotionally she’s feeling very sad this year, missing all of her church friends and neighbors in Logan and of course all of her Drive inn friends.
If you can find a little time to send her a message on here it would brighten her life so much. I don’t know how many will get this post but I will keep looking and make sure that she can see your Merry Christmas wish. ❤️ Karla
