Fellow trumpet players. I need your help please. Would anyone who ever bought my Legends OUTLAW Signature Series Trumpet Mouthpiece or trumpet top from Derek Saidak at Legends Brass www.legendsbrass.com please contact me. Derek Saidak Vice President of Member Business Services at ORNL Federal Credit Union in Lenoir city, Tennessee, and Music Ministry Team Memmber of the Lenoir City, Tennessee first Baptist Church is suing me and he refuses to drop his lawsuit against me. Derek Saidak's lawsuit against me is filled with one lie after another. I was nice and I helped Derek Saidak who was once my friend start his trumpet mouthpiece company Legends Brass. I personally came up with the idea for my Legends Brass Dr. Michael Schmidt Signature Series Trumpet Mouthpiece called the OUTLAW. The OUTLAW was based off of my Bob Reeves trumpet mouthpiece. But unlike Derek I am not a copy cat. I did not just get Derek Saidak to copy my Bob reeves trumpet mouthpiece. I, not Derek Saidak designed several changes to my personal Bob Reeves trumpet mouthpiece, one that many of you have seen me play for well over a decade. The OUTLAW was MY NAME. I first started using the name the OUTLAW Trumpet where I called myself the OUTLAW trumpet player in 2002. We ran that OUTLAW theme on the www.trumpetofthelord.com website for many years. I trusted Derek Saidak of Legends Brass and I got burned. I helped him because I thought that he was a Christian brother and was a friend. We had an oral contract that I would design trumpet mouthpieces for him, and that he would give me the credit. For over seven years Derek kept his part of our agreement, as did I. then one day out of the blue Derek dropped me from Legends without even telling me. He refused to return all of my emails and phone calls. Then Derek has the audacity to publish a libelous press release about me on his website claiming that I had never ever designed any trumpet mouthpieces for him or Legends in any way. I know that you trumpet pros know that this is untrue. I tried every way that I knew of to get Derek Saidak to stop libeling me. He refused. I went to a mutual friend. Derek refused to talk to him. I went to my ministry accountability partner Dr. Dan Payne who I first went to before I designed any trumpet mouthpieces for Derek. Dr. Payne knows that Derek is lying. Derek refused to speak to Dr. Payne. I continued to follow the Bible in Matthew 18:15 ff and I contacted Derek Saidak's church where he serves on the music ministry team Lenoir City, Tennessee First Baptist church. the then retiring pastor Jack Jackson refused to take my phone calls and to speak with me after many efforts to do so. Derek still continued to libel me with his outrageous lie that I never had any part in any way of designing the Legends Brass OUTLAW trumpet mouthpiece. The OUTLAW was my Legends Brass Signature Series Trumpet mouthpiece. Derek is now claiming that the OUTLAW was all his idea and that only he designed it. Who does this guy think that he is? The OUTLAW was all my idea. all that Derek Saidak did was take all of MY original ideas for the OUTLAW, write down the dimensions and send them off to Pickett - Blackburn Brass to make them for him. Pickett - Brass made them and sent them to Derek. Derek sent an OUTLAW to me for me to approve (along with my Bob Reeves trumpet mouthpiece back) and I approved the OUTLAW. This is difficult to believe but true, Derek Saidak is so corrupt, but he sent to me a certified letter basically saying that unless I apologized for saying that i was involved in designing the OUTLAW and that i admit that i was lying, that Derek Saidak was going to SUE ME. well, of course i was not going to lie about my involvement in designing and approving the Legends Brass OUTLAW, so as a result this dishonest jerk Derek Saidak filed a lawsuit against me that is ruining my life. Derek Saidak is a VP of a federal credit union. He live in according to Zillow an over half a million dollar house. Derek Saidak has a lot of money, and he has caused a great amount of stress in my life and marriage because of the lies of ORNL Federal Credit Union VP Derek Saidak of Legends Brass. The lies that this guy Derek Saidak has told on Facebook, on his website and online are unbelievable. I have gone out of my way to try to get this guy to drop this lawsuit but he refuses. My wife and I have spent all of our money on an attorney to defend us against this lawsuit. Now we are out of money, and still owe our attorney 3k. Our crappy attorney Jeffrey Sliz of Lawrenceville, GA dropped me after he realized that we had no more money. Now i have to represent myself pro se against Derek Saidak and Derek is bombarding me with piles of legal briefs to hurt me because he knows that I have to answer them but do not know how to properly. Plus i am very sick and very disabled. I am too sick to defend myself like this against his hateful mean spirited dishonest attacks.
