The Arbors at Stoneham is a senior living residential community conveniently located in Stoneham, Massachusetts. We currently have 58 traditional residences and 26 designed for memory support. Our residents enjoy the amenities of a new state-of-the-art facility with a spectacular foyer with cathedral ceilings and many other features. We aim to reflect our community by providing culinary favorites, including lots of homemade Italian food, and activities tailored to the unique individuals who live here. We offer personal care and the comforts of home in the privacy of your own apartment. The Arbors at Stoneham serves the communities of Stoneham, Wakefield, Melrose, Malden, Medford, Wi******er, Woburn, Reading and the surrounding area. The Arbors at Stoneham is conveniently located near the I-93/I-95 interchange in Stoneham, Massachusetts.

Nothing brings people together like the smell of the grill and great company! Our residents had a fantastic time at this week’s Summer Barbecue—enjoying delicious food, laughter, and the warm sunshine with friends and family. 🌭🧓👵

Our courtyard gardens are thriving, and Louise couldn’t help but take a walk to soak it all in! 🥒🍆🍅 With cucumbers, eggplants, green beans, tomatoes, herbs, and nearly-ready carrots, the season’s harvest is just around the corner.

Putting the cuddle in the morning huddle. At the start of every weekday, all on site staff meet to discuss plans/menus/visitors/resident updates. It’s quick but it anchors our days and strengthens our community as a whole.

🇺🇸 We were honored to welcome two VFW members, Bill Goss and Jay Humphrey, who shared their knowledge and experiences with us today.

Bill, a Purple Heart recipient, spoke about his own sacrifices—losing sight in one eye and hearing in both ears while serving our country. Jay and Bill also shared the powerful history of the Purple Heart Medal, which was first created as the “Badge of Military Merit” by General George Washington in 1782 during the Revolutionary War.

They showed us medals from different wars, explained how the design has never changed, and even shared the “ribbon” bar that reflects all the honors received.

We are truly grateful for their service, sacrifice, and for bringing this important piece of history to life for us. 💜🎖️

🔥 Resident Fire Safety Session Recap 🔥

A big thank you to Fire Chief Matthew Grafton and Fire Prevention Lieutenant Mike Rourke from the Stoneham Fire Department for joining us on Friday, July 25th for an important and reassuring fire safety discussion.

Residents had the opportunity to:
✅ Learn about our building’s fire safety features
✅ Review evacuation procedures
✅ Receive helpful fire safety tips
✅ Ask questions and express concerns

It was a calm, informative, and empowering session — no drills or alarms, just clear guidance from trusted local experts. 👨‍🚒👩‍🚒

We’re grateful for the partnership and support of the Stoneham Fire Department in helping our community feel safe and prepared. 💛

🍦🍫🗣️ A Week of Sweet Treats & Meaningful Moments at The Arbors at Stoneham! 💛

We had a blast celebrating National Ice Cream Day and National Chocolate Day with delicious treats and even sweeter company! Residents also enjoyed a fun lunch outing, soaking up good food and great conversation.

One of the highlights of the week was our Conversation Jar—filled with thoughtful, lighthearted, and fun questions that sparked laughter, storytelling, and new connections. It’s amazing what a simple question can inspire!
