what is around us,
our own essence,
the love we are offered
and the love we give...
It is so much,
it is so amazing overwhelming,
that we can only be in the present moment
because it fills us completely.

It's all we can hold.

This is living sensuously.
Living every moment, feeling through all of the senses.
Being Fully Present.

Cultivate Peace in your week!
Begin your week with Zen. Join us Tuesday evening for 45-minutes of deep relaxation as we connect with the breath and let go of stress, dissolving into the healing tones of singing bowls, the chime of a singing crystal pyramid, and deep reverberations of the Chao and Symphonic gongs.

Yoga mats, pillows and blankets will be provided. You may wish to bring an additional pillow or blanket for extra yummy comfort.

* Due to spacing needs, this event is limited to 8 spots *

*This event will be held upstairs at the Peace of Mind Center in the Reiki/Sound Healing Room. Please arrive promptly to settle into the space.

PLEASE NOTE: Recommendations in the area of sound therapy tell us that there are contraindications to be aware of. Persons with certain conditions and medical histories are advised to consult with their health care professional regarding attending a sound bath or having sound therapy sessions, due to the potential detox effect a sound session can create, and the effects that vibration has on the body.
*Pregnancy: during the first and third trimester. Besides a detox effect, deep sound can trigger contractions. (I went to a rock concert in the 3rd trimester of my first pregnancy and experienced this.)
*Clients with implanted devices such as stents, shunts, pacemakers, pumps, or valves and those who have metal implants.
*Those with the following conditions and histories: seizures, a recent head injury/concussion (3 months), heart conditions, a history of blood clots, unmanaged mental health issues such as PTSD or personality disorder, post-operative patients and those with severe debilitation and cancer.

Morning musings...

What if our bodies betray us because we have betrayed ourselves?
What if she has been waiting for an "I love you" for so long, that she is finally given up on waiting?
How have I abandoned her, rejected her, subjected her to constant inner ridicule?

"I love you", I whisper under the morning stars.
"Every part, every phase, every tiny piece of you... of me. I love you and I'm sorry."

And I gather myself back to me, pulling in those parts that I have orphaned and discarded and disavowed.

"Come home. Come home. Come home.
You're safe now."

..When our children leave us... ..When ours lives no longer fit together.... when death comes calling... as it surely will, one day.

Those we love are more than a puzzle piece in our life. They are the whole of their own.

Just like company, you prepare for it, anticipate it, make room for it, and watch for it to arrive.

You greet it with open arms and a "Welcome home."
You say, "I hope you can stay".

But even when they leave, and one day they will, because that is the way of all things...
you know that they will be back.

And you will keep the room ready.

I would rather hold hands, be brave, and take the ride.
One thing I have learned in the 60 years of my life, is that no love is ever wasted. Whether it lasts, or dissolves into the cosmos, it has taught me something, and in the end, something beautiful has been woven into the tapestry of my life.
