❓Did you know weak hips can contribute to knee pain❓
-
When your hips are stiff or weak, your knees often compensate — leading to extra stress, poor alignment, and discomfort during walking, running, or squatting.

👉 Your hips help control:
• Knee alignment
• Shock absorption
• Leg stability

If they’re not doing their job, your knees pick up the slack.
-
What You Can Do:
✔ Stretch your hip flexors daily
✔ Strengthen your hip muscles (squats, lunges, bridges)
✔ Work on hip mobility
✔️ Don’t ignore knee pain

Knee pain isn’t always a “knee problem.” Sometimes the real issue is higher up.

Feeling better doesn’t mean you’re fully healed. Recovery is a rebuilding process, and your body needs time to adapt to new demands.
-
Here’s a smarter way to progress:

▶️ Earn the next level: If your current activity feels manageable for a full week, then increase it slightly.

▶️ Small jumps beat big leaps: Add a little weight, a few reps, or a few extra minutes — not everything at once.

▶️ Watch your pain response: Mild discomfort during exercise can be okay. Pain that spikes or lingers into the next day means scale back.
-
Healing isn’t a race — it’s a gradual return to doing what you love, stronger and more resilient than before.💪

Quick Tip for Athletes 🏃‍♂️⬇️
-
If we can hear you land, you’re probably not absorbing force well.

Landing quietly protects your knees, hips, and ankles. Loud landings often mean stiff joints, poor control, and higher injury risk.

Remember:
🔹 Bend through your hips, knees, and ankles
🔹 Land softly on the midfoot (not flat-footed or heavy on heels)
🔹 Keep your knees aligned over your toes
🔹 Control the descent — don’t just “drop”
-
Strong, controlled, quiet landings = better performance and fewer injuries✅
