Side lying work on the short box is ideal for strengthening obliques, increasinging spine flexibility and stretching legs & hips!

Eventually both hands will be behind the head for an extra layer of spice :)

What is your favorite nickname for the magic circle?

Fun facts:
- Joe Pilates did not put any cushion material on his magic circles 😲😵‍💫😵
- The springboard was designed by a Pilates instructor and not by Joe Pilates. It is a variation of the towers. We also have 6 towers at the studio, but enjoy using the springboards also!

Stellar small group session on the spine corrector this morning!

The spine corrector is ideal for increasing thoracic (upper back) flexibility in extension (needed for good posture), lumbar (lower back) flexion (needed for healthy backs) and the perfect blend of hip stability and flexibility. And of course a killer core workout!
