We are excited to announce the enrollment of the first U.S. patient in the ARCH trial at Stony Brook Neurosurgery Clinic. The ARCH (Active Removal of IntraCerebral Hematoma via active irrigation of ventricular system) clinical trial will compare the ability of active CSF exchange to clear the blood collected in a patient’s ventricles after an intraventricular hemorrhage (IVH) with traditional passive drainage. The ARCH study is a controlled, randomized clinical trial that is expected to enroll patients across several sites in both Europe and the United States.
