Our Hem-Onc team kicked off early with their annual Extra-BOO-ganza! 👻🎃 Our pediatric patients enjoyed trick-or-treating around the Cancer Center and collected plenty of sweet treats along the way. A huge thank you to everyone who dressed up, decorated, and helped make this event extra special. ❤️

Meet Noah! 👋 Diagnosed prenatally with trisomy 21 (Down syndrome) and a complete AV canal defect with Tetralogy of Fallot, Noah’s care journey began with Dr. Panesar and the team at Children’s before he was even born.

After undergoing surgery as a newborn and receiving continued care, Noah has shown incredible strength, optimism, and personality every step of the way. Whether he’s dancing, chasing bubbles, flipping through his favorite books, or playing with his four siblings, Noah continues to thrive as a happy 3-year-old. We’re so grateful to watch him grow and fill every room with light and laughter (and chicken nuggets). ❤️

For children with like Noah, Stony Brook Children’s provides coordinated, comprehensive care to support every aspect of their health, from managing heart conditions to addressing sleep apnea, low muscle tone, hypothyroidism, vision or hearing challenges, and developmental needs.
