Leaders in healthcare, public safety and government came together at Stony Brook University last month to address the growing dangers of e-bikes and e-scooters on Long Island.

Experts from Stony Brook Children’s Hospital, law enforcement and advocacy groups highlighted a sharp rise in injuries - specially among children - and emphasized that these incidents are preventable through education, safer infrastructure and stronger enforcement.
