Meet Kara — one of the incredible founding members of OTF Woodlake! 🍊

After stepping away to welcome her daughter in November, Kara couldn’t wait to get back under the orange lights. When she heard Woodlake was opening, she jumped at the chance to return to the workouts, the coaches, and the community she missed so much.

For Kara, it’s the friendships, support, and shared goals that make OTF feel like home. She’s a big fan of Tread 50 and already has her sights set on Strength 50 next! 👟🧡

Meet our incredible member of the month for July, Dolores🤩 Read below on her amazing journey so far💪🏼🔥 Keep up the amazing work🍊🧡

“When I started at OTF in March I knew that I had to do something. I wanted to get healthier and I wanted to get strong. I also wanted to prove to myself that I could commit to making myself better.

In order to make that happen, I knew that
I needed to be challenged physically as well as mentally, I needed to be pushed, and I needed to learn to push myself.

I look forward to starting nearly every morning here being encouraged, and pushed a little bit further than the day before. I leave dripping sweat, feeling accomplished, and looking forward to the next workout.

Meet our amazing member of the month for June, Christina T. 🤩 Read about her incredible journey below!🍊🧡

“I had just finished celebrating my 50th birthday when I joined OTF SB in Oct 2023. I was well trained in cardio, finishing several marathons and Ironman’s over the years. I also enjoyed the occasional hike and mountain bike. You can say, I love staying active.
But, I was lacking in strength training. I’ve listen to many podcasts and I’ve heard how important HIIT, strength training and maximizing your V02 is. I’ve also heard that every year after 40 women drop 1% in muscle mass. That’s huge! I needed to focus
on counteracting this decline. I needed something I will stick with and do several times a week. Coach Alexa just hooked me in from day1! 7 months later, I’m challenging myself with heavier and heavier weights. Going to such a positive, friendly gym with
some really great coaches keeps me looking forward to the next class. It’s amazing how much energy the coaches bring, even at 5am! I’m really proud that I just completed 7 days of Mayhem! That was a hard challenge. But the very best part is 3 months after
I joined, my daughter and her boyfriend joined. Classes with them have really “strengthened” our bond!♥️” -Christina

Our Orangetheory Fitness center is located right in downtown Stony Brook, New York, and we provide a great space for the entire community to get a workout in. It's easy and fun for everyone from students to busy parents to fit in time for a workout at our spacious and modern gym facility.
