How are already 20? It seems like just yesterday you were born. 9lbs 5oz of pure Joy. I remember getting to kiss those beautiful chubby cheeks in the hospital for the first time, Bunny.
It seems like just yesterday you hit your first baseball,served your first volleyball, tackled your brothers in football, and was tackled by a huge nephalim playing basketball. 😜 I kissed your cheek and told you to get back out there and finish what you started.
The first time you sang with me at church, you turned towards the wall because you were so nervous. I kissed your cheek and told you how proud I was of you. Now you sing weekly in front of hundreds.
I remember you crying the first time you heard butterfly Kisses and Cinderella, and you climbed on my feet for a dance. I kissed your cheek and we danced and danced.
I remember the phone call that you were at death’s door, and may not make it. It was the single worst day of my life. I remember kissing your bruised cheek in that hospital room, asking Jesus to open those blue eyes again. Now here you are, healing, breathing, learning and growing….and more beautiful than ever.
I can’t believe you’re 20 today, Abby. I hope your birthday is as special as you are. I love you!

Abby is back on the walker and will be using the wheelchair for a few weeks, but she’s moving some better today. Lots of pain, but that’s to be expected after this type of surgery. Thank you for all the prayers.

We pulled the car around to take Abby home, but her blood pressure dropped when they moved her to the wheelchair put they put her back in the bed. We’re waiting now and hoping it comes back up. They may want her to stay overnight for observation. We would prefer to be home, but only if she is ready and able. Thanks for praying.

Abby is awake, alert, out of that hospital gown, hardware-free, and coming home. Thank you all for the prayers. 
You’re not supposed to be that beautiful after 4 1/2 hours of surgery. 🥰
