Please join us in thanking Jack Cahill for his incredible generosity! πŸ™ŒπŸ’™

University of Delaware student and Stony Point resident Jack Cahill chose to honor our Stony Point Ambulance Corps members with his Elk’s Club Pay It Forward grant. With this donation, Jack outfitted our volunteers with a new propane fire pit, Adirondack chairs, and a few extra goodies for our back patio.

These additions give our dedicated volunteers a place to decompress, relax between calls, and build camaraderie β€” something truly meaningful in our line of work.

Thank you, Jack, for supporting our team and helping us create a space that brings comfort and connection. πŸš‘βœ¨

🚨 Member Monday: Meet Thomas Perez!

Thomas has been volunteering with Stony Point Ambulance Corps for almost two years. He joined while studying in New York and is now one of the few members who lives out of state!

Thomas currently lives in Washington, PA, about 30 minutes from Pittsburgh. He works as a minister for The Salvation Army USA, helping people through different programs and ministries. Even with his busy schedule, he still volunteers with his local fire department. πŸš’πŸš‘

And whenever he’s back in New York, Thomas always makes it a point to give back to the Town of Stony Point, New York and community he loves. πŸ™Œ

We’re proud to spotlight Thomas this Member Monday! πŸ’ͺ

🚨 Member Monday: Meet Marcos Lopez (28)!

Marcos has been volunteering with Stony Point Ambulance Corps since 2020 after the previous captain invited him to join. Today, he proudly serves as Captain of S**C! πŸš‘

His advice to anyone thinking about joining: β€œGo for it! You won’t be alone β€” our members will be with you every step of the way. In the end, you’ll find it to be incredibly rewarding.” πŸ™Œ

Outside of S**C, Marcos works for The Salvation Army USA, volunteers with South Orangetown Ambulance Corps and the Civil Air Patrol, and enjoys traveling and trying new foods. 🍴🏞️

Fun fact: While he may be a little behind, Marcos is currently watching Who’s the Boss, Wings, and Everybody Loves Raymond! πŸ“Ί

We’re proud to spotlight Captain Lopez this Member Monday! πŸ’ͺ

Edwin has completed all of his field training and is now fully qualified to respond to calls as an independent EMT.

Last night at approximately 01:40, he ran his first call as a cleared provider and did nothing less than an outstanding job!

We’re proud of you, Edwin, and excited to see your growth! πŸš‘πŸ‘
