Rock Steady Boxing!
People with Parkinson’s disease now have access to a proven exercise program designed just for them starting September 8, 2025, at the BVRMC Fitness & Health Center. Led by certified trainers, this non-contact boxing program helps improve balance, strength, and quality of life. Startup costs paid for by donors to the Buena Vista Regional Healthcare Foundation.

This award recognizes our EMS team's outstanding commitment to providing life-saving, research-based care to patients suffering from severe heart attacks and strokes — starting right from the moment 911 is called.

Thanks to the dedication of our EMS professionals, patients receive faster treatment, better outcomes, and a greater chance of survival.
