However, all patients are welcome, no matter where you live. We have been growing and developing within the Storm Lake region since we opened in March 2006. We are truly committed to provide comprehensive and culturally appropriate primary and preventive health care services for your entire family. Care received at UCHC is not free – it is extremely affordable. UCHC provides a way for patients to see a doctor on a sliding fee scale that doesn’t rely on insurance status, although we are very happy to serve insured patients as well. We encourage all people that are uninsured, underinsured, or insured seeking a Medical Home to consider us as your primary care provider.
