Dr. Lee Meylor grew up in Cherokee, IA and at an early age was fortunate to have three uncles and an aunt who adjusted their family regularly to stay healthy. Growing up he has seen the benefits of all natural chiropractic care and watched many of his family members attend Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA, where he continued the family tradition and graduated from, in 1983. During his time in school, Dr. Meylor became proficient in the techniques of Palmer Package, including Diversified, Gonstead, Activator, Impulse instrument, Nutritional Guidance and has been licensed in Acupuncture since 1995.
After graduation he was drawn back home to Northwest Iowa and started his own practice in Storm Lake in 1984. He married his wife, Laurie, who he met in Davenport while attending college. Together they share two sons, a daughter, and two grandchildren. They attend St. Mary's Catholic Church and Dr. Meylor is active with the Knights of Columbus. He enjoys all outdoor sports, especially 4-wheeling, dirtbike riding, motorcycling, bicycling, snowmobiling, snow skiing and tinkering in his garage.
Dr. Meylor is passionate for his profession and is proud to be a part of one of the largest chiropractic families in the world. Currently, he has 42 family members who are chiropractors scattered across the United States. Wherever you travel you can find a Meylor!
Dr. Tanner Morris, a Spencer native, pursued his career in chiropractic while studying Exercise Science at Buena Vista University. After two years of undergraduate study and an early acceptance into the chiropractic program, he attended and completed his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2020. Graduating Summa Cum Laude and ranking at the top of his class, Dr. Morris has extensive knowledge in treating patients according to their unique needs.
Dr. Morris has an integrated approach to healthcare, as he believes this ensures each patient receives the care needed to return to optimal health. While completing his nine-month preceptorship at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa, he was granted the opportunity to work with individuals who were recovering from physical, mental, and emotional trauma. There, he learned how to optimize patient results by utilizing a variety of chiropractic techniques and working closely with other healthcare professionals in the hospital setting.
Outside of the office, Dr. Morris has been excited to return to Northwest Iowa. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing golf and basketball, competing in fantasy football, and traveling with his wife, Katie (Turnquist), an Alta native.

Our office manager and chiropractic assistant, Laurie Meylor, was born and raised in the Quad Cities. She grew up in an active family where neck and back surgeries were common. In fact, her parents believed that she would have many of the same problems in her future. That was until Laurie found chiropractic when she met her husband, Lee Meylor. While dating him as he attended Palmer College of Chiropractic, Laurie learned about chiropractic and after her first adjustment, she was blown away! It didn't hurt and all the kinks and sore, stiff muscles she thought were normal were gone. She felt like a weight was taken off of her shoulders and noticed improvement in sports. Most importantly, she felt like a new person! This is what drove her passion for a healthy, natural lifestyle.
Laurie and Lee have enjoyed sharing a life together since 1986 and growing their family with their three children and two grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoys being active outdoors, bicycling, boating, kayaking, snow skiing, listening to podcasts and of course spending time with family and friends laughing and cooking!
Laurie states, “Being a part of our big chiropractic family and working at our office gives me such pride. I thank God everyday! I love coming to work and seeing patients get well and becoming the best they can be, naturally, without drugs or surgery.”
