EVERYONE SHOULD MOVE

My name is Jenney Britain. I’ve been a physical therapist since 2001.

In 2016, Lisa Resch, LMT and I decided to rent a space in downtown Stoughton, WI. The office is comfortable and quiet. I like to treat my patients with a more hands-on approach, specifically working with the myofascial system. Even without a major injury, the body’s soft tissue and connective tissue systems are under constant pressure. Manual techniques, such as myofascial release and other hands-on techniques, can alleviate pressure on the joints and spine. Once the soft tissue moves more freely, strength and stretching exercise can maintain mobility.

Everyone should have a regular check-in with their physical therapist to evaluate posture, strength, balance, flexibility, and soft tissue mobility. All these things work together to keep you moving, or work against to keep you hurting.
