Today is National Cancer Day.

And while today honors research, awareness, and early detection, it’s also a reminder of the part that doesn’t get talked about enough — what happens after.

After the diagnosis.
After the surgery.
After the treatment.

At Embrace Pink, we exist for that space.
We’re a place to land after breast cancer.

A place for post-surgery comfort and fittings.
A place for peer support and real conversations.
A place for guidance when you’re figuring out what comes next.
A place for community, healing, and reconnecting with yourself.

If you or someone you love is walking this journey — or learning how to live again after it — you are not alone. We’re here. Always.

This is interesting! Please share your thoughts. 🤔
Here’s mine as a breast cancer survivor I can say that mammograms don’t always see cancer. I had my first mammogram at 40 and 2 months and they said was fine then 10 months later two days before my 41st birthday I found my lump myself. They had me do another mammogram and ultrasound. Guess what still didn’t see all the tumors. I had an mri done and bam! I had 3 tumors on my right side. I opted for a double mastectomy thank goodness because my left side was full of cancerous cells once my pathology report came back. I have now been NED ( no evidence of disease almost 3 years). I was diagnosed 3 years ago on Jan 17,2023.
I have mixed feelings about this video. We do need to do something to be checked but I however think there are way better options than a mammogram! I definitely advocate that if you can do one of the other options such as mri or thermography. I believe I still should have the option to do these but sadly unless I pay for it myself this is not an option they give me. For lack of better terms all they do is feel me up every six months and that’s how they see if I have any lumps. The sad part is I have implants(would have chose differently with what I know now but that’s a story for another time). So if I were to have the cancer come back it would most likely be on my chest wall and guess what you won’t just “feel” that with a breast exam because it would be underneath the implants. 🤦🏽‍♀️ Anyway with all of that I want to say if you have the option for a better way do it but if you have concerns and a mammogram is the only way. I would still recommend getting it done. It could save your life! 💗
Sorry for my long rant 🤷🏻‍♀️

A lot of people have been in my inbox with suggestions to collab with different businesses, organizations, and individuals since I posted this story and I love that so much. 💗

One thing I’ve learned is that collaboration over competition truly changes everything. When we come together, we’re able to reach more people, share more resources, and create deeper impact than we ever could on our own. Uplifting one another doesn’t take away from anyone, it strengthens all of us!

At Embrace Pink, collaboration has always been at the heart of what we do. Whether it’s partnering with healthcare providers, nonprofits, small businesses, or incredible humans who simply want to help, every connection is an opportunity to serve women and families in a more meaningful way.

If you’ve ever thought, “I know someone who could benefit from this,” or “I’d love to work together to support women’s health,” please know that those messages are always welcome. Some of the most beautiful partnerships start with a simple conversation and a shared heart for helping others.

Let’s keep lifting each other up, opening doors, sharing ideas, and building something bigger than ourselves — together. 💕

DM me if you want to collab or would like to see us collab with a certain business or person ✍️

✨ Welcome to the first full week of 2026 ✨

As we step into a brand-new year, we want to pause and honor what this moment represents — fresh starts, continued healing, and hope. At Embrace Pink, we know that January can bring a mix of emotions. For some, it’s a time of renewed energy and goal setting. For others, it’s simply about taking one day at a time. Both are welcome here. 💗

This week, we want to remind you that Embrace Pink is more than a breast cancer center. We are a place of support, education, connection, and care for women at every stage of their journey — whether you are newly diagnosed, in treatment, post-treatment, navigating survivorship, or simply prioritizing your overall breast and women’s health.

Inside our center, you’ll find:
✨ A safe, judgment-free space
✨ Support groups and community connections
✨ Educational resources and trusted referrals
✨ Products designed for comfort, dignity, and confidence
✨ A listening ear when you just need to be heard

As we move into this new year together, we encourage you to ask yourself:
💗 What does my body need right now?
💗 What support would help me feel less alone?
💗 Where can I give myself more grace?

You don’t have to have all the answers. You don’t have to have a plan. You just have to know that you don’t have to do this alone.

Whether you stop in for resources, a conversation, a hug, or simply to sit in a space that understands — our doors and our hearts are open. Here’s to a year rooted in compassion, strength, and community.

Welcome to 2026. We’re so glad you’re here. 💕
