🌽National Corn on the Cob Day🌽

While we don’t mean to mean to be party poopers….it is our duty to remind everyone that corn on the cob and braces don’t mix well

Here's why corn on the cob is not recommended with braces:

The hard cob can loosen or even pop off brackets and wires when you bite into it.

The corn kernels can get stuck in your braces, making it harder to clean and potentially contributing to tooth decay.

Use a knife or tool to carefully remove the corn kernels from the cob before eating.

You can still enjoy corn with your braces, just be sure to cut it off the cob to avoid damage.

Today is National Herbs and Spices Day

Did you know that spices like cumin and turmeric can stain Invisalign attachments due to their strong pigments?

It is recommended to remove aligners when consuming these or other brightly colored foods and drinks, and then rinse with water or brush your teeth before reinserting them.
