Cassie's occipital lobe abnormal activity has improved significantly over the last year but is still a significant struggle area for her. She has learned so much in 4 years in how to compensate in safe and healthy ways to navigate her surroundings.

Thank you! As we prepare for Cassie to be admitted to Cleveland Clinic Epilepsy Monitoring Unit on May 1st (still searching for more answers on how to help her get through the winter without so many bad days) I am reminded we are not alone and her story is making a difference.

This is our original and currently the largest fundraiser every year. This fundraiser helps us with our yearly overhead costs including website maintenance, zoom subscription, PO Box fees and much more! We are truly grateful for all the support shown by our friends and families. Remember there is always a link in our bio to donate year-round! Thank you all for your continued support!

Today is 3/16, , today and everyday we celebrate all the extra hard work Cassie puts in despite her and the friends who have become family who are on similar journeys. I hope you enjoy seeing the "many faces of TUBB3". Please share today and help us spread worldwide awareness to help future families

Cassie worked super hard today for her testing. They confirmed her high functioning CVI diagnosis as well as using the tablet for eye tracking. It takes her eye movement while completing some matching to prove she moves her eyes 3 times more than the average 5-8 year old to complete the same task. Hopefully, this will help us and the school to offer better accommodations to reduce her headaches and fatigue🀞🀞🀞

All 3 appointments went well. Everyone feels like we are still missing a piece, but there are no changes in treatment until we return in the fall. 3 appointments and a blood draw in 4 hours calls for a trip to the toy closet. Thank you again to for making the long days better.

This visit is different.
It is routine. We are not here for answers. We are hoping for maintaining or improving.

This visit is different.
We do not have a stroller because Cassie can make a 4 hour appointment day and still walk back to .

This visit is different because she can have cow's milk ( not almondπŸŽ‰) and be trusted not to knock over a restaurant kids cup, so we no longer carry an insulated spill proof cup with special milk.

This visit is different because she is on her 10th day of being daytime dry, so restroom breaks are 5 minutes instead of 15-20 minutes because we don't need to undress every time to change a pull-up. So at 7.5 years old, even if the doctors say maintaining, I see huge improvements and am soooooo grateful we kept pushing and didn't accept that it was as good as it could be.
