💥💥Attention Parents of 4th, 5th, and 6th grade boys. I am committing to helping out this community through our youth, and after coaching multiple youth sports these past few years there is a significant trend amongst our youth. Not just our town in general but everywhere, and the research I've done outside of coaching has proven that, Our youth (especially boys ages 10-14) is the most troubled, weakest, depressed, suicidal generation to exist. Kids are bottled up all day at school, come home sit on video games, lay around and eat cuz they're bored, etc, etc. They have no outlet, no motivation, no will power to do anything productive, until there parents sign them up for sports, so for an or 2 hour a day, two to three times a week they have all that bottled up energy and finally get to release it where another coach or parent has to try and deal with that while also teaching said sport and keeping everyone occupied.
This isn't to complain about our youth at all or coaching, because I love coaching our youth athletes, and I wouldn't do it if I didn't. My point is, these kids just need some guidance and direction, and I would like to provide a Leadership and Development program, based around fitness and hard work. These boys will learn how to truly LEAD from within a team (screaming and yelling to do this, go here, do that) is not leading. I mean teaching them true leadership, they will have their physical, mental, and emotional states tested each time we meet, and they will learn how to work through problems. They will learn how to fail, and they will fail, but they will be able to pick themselves right back up and succeed. They will learn real life leadership that they can take with them anywhere and use it. They will gain confidence in themselves which will in return stop them from being threatened by their peers. Along with much much more.
So with all that, I would like everyone to reach out, comment, direct message me if your child would be interested. Again, I'm starting with 4th, 5th, and 6th grade boys as that's where it's proven to have the most trouble. This program won't be easy, and it's not intended to be, but I can promise you it will be worth it and safe for every kid. Please reach out tho so I can get enough equipment for everyone, and I can answer any questions. The youth is our future and I'm committed to taking them to the next level in leadership and guidance.
P.S. I will be using the A Healthy Strasburg page to do updates, post pictures, locations, schedule, maybe guest speakers, etc. So please follow.
