What a lovely surprise visit from these two amazing ladies, who we typically see at their place of work/mission (Northgate II, Fair Share Housing in Camden). Marilyn (Policy Director for Senior & Wellness Services) and Darlene (Social Service Coordinator) are the examples of true leaders in communities that need us most! We are so grateful for the collaboration of our missions, especially because they understand the 4Ms framework that we deeply care about. You made our day! 🤗

A few months ago we hired our first med student part-time (Ashwin) and the experience has been wonderful for our team, Ashwin and our patients! We got a lot of great feedback from him, how this position enriched his knowledge in patients’ interactions. It opened his eyes to what it looks like to help manage patients’ medications, which is a very important aspect of delivering quality care and health outcomes. We decided to open up an opportunity for an additional med student, who would like to gain this experience. Ashwin will champion being a great resource to his fellow med students to share how these last few months helped him get a deeper insight into what it looks like after the medication was prescribed to a patient. What happens next? What are the barriers? How to navigate the complex healthcare system and be the best patient advocate. We are super thrilled to open this opportunity to another candidate. Can’t wait to see who’s going to join us 🤗
