It’s in the vitamin C!!!!! Interestingly, the RDA for nonsmoker is 60 mg and for smoker 125 mg per day. Saw this interesting info from Dr. Fauci from Jan 2016. A good viral prevention of Vitamin C is 3000 mg a day divided—1000 mg 3 times a day.

Building your immunity - Vitamin D3

Most people I see have an average Vitamin D level of 21 or below! The recommended level is around 40-50 but I like to see it above 60. There is discussion on whether Vitamin d is actually a hormone or vitamin. Every cell in our body has a receptor for Vitamin D; Every cell in the body has a receptor for thyroid. Those are the only two things every cell in our body has a receptor for.

A published Harvard study found that people with high vitamin D levels were less likely to get the flu or cancer. Vitamin D is known to be more effective against the flu than the flu vaccine.

Know your Vitamin D level! To get your number up fast I recommend 10,000 IU of Vitamin D3 a day for 90 days. It is important to note that you must take Vitamin K2 with Vitamin D to make sure calcium is directed to the bones and not the tissue. *There are warnings for Vitamin K2 if you are taking certain prescriptions.

Immunity boost for the day:
Probiotics - Take a probiotic daily to assist your gut flora. I recommend clearing out debris in the gut and replace with healthy flora with a special protocol from Biociden. Live spore probiotics are the best in my opinion. Make sure your probiotic can withstand the stomach to be released in the gut.
