Funda M. Gulmen, N.D., M.S. is a licensed naturopathic physician with a private practice in Stratford, Connecticut. Integrating modern and ancient medicine, she helps to achieve optimal health in the body, mind, heart, and spirit.
Dr. Gulmen has participated in many aspects of healthcare throughout her career including: public health, basic science, clinical research, various in/outpatient settings, teaching, administration, and international medicine. The breadth and depth of her experience allows her to offer comprehensive and compassionate care to her patients. It also allows her to share her medical knowledge in a voice that is authentic, balanced, and grounded through her seminars and publications. She has had the good fortune to study with some of the world’s most renowned teachers in both modern and ancient science. She is a graduate of the University of California - Berkeley, the University of Chicago, the University of Bridgeport, and Yale University. She has also completed additional studies in the Vedic arts: yoga, Ayurveda (traditional Indian medicine), and Jyotish (Vedic astrology).
