Dianne B. Fredericks, age 81, of Stratford, beloved wife of Edward A. Fredericks, passed away on September 19, 2025. Dianne was born in Presque Isle, Maine to the late Charles and Marie (Clark) Bouchard, and had been a longtime area resident. She attended the Chandler School for Women in Boston in 1962 and worked as an X-Ray technician at Arthur R. Gould Memorial Hospital in Presque Isle, Maine. Dianne was a member of Junior Women’s Club in Stratford and supported her children in all school functions. She volunteered at local nursing homes and in political campaigns. She loved to talk and laugh loudly with friends. Survivors in addition to her beloved husband of 60 years, include her devoted children, Heidi Fredericks-Prenty and her husband Declan, Edward Fredericks and partner Jessica, David Fredericks and wife June, Heather Previs and daughter in law, Justine Fredericks, all of Stratford, cherished grandchildren, Finnbar, Edward Jr. And Chelsea, Brett and wife Kelsey, Julia, David, and Isabella, Madison, Jack, Christie, and Winter, adored great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Logan and Anthony, and relatives Charlene Dubois, Chad Cockcroft and Shauna Meehan. Visitation on Wednesday October 1, 2025, from 4-7 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday October 2nd at 10:00 a.m. meeting directly at St. James Church 2070 Main Street Stratford. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the St. Joseph’s Indian School of South Dakota, Dianne’s favorite charity.
