In honor of the great rock and roll legend, this weeks motivation is from Mr. Ozzy Osbourne himself. Rest piece to the prince of darkness.

Client Spotlight! Joe (TM) came for a quick week long intensive with us. Here are a few exercises we did with him working on his postural control and overall core strength.

In the first video he is working on his oblique and ab strength in this T spine rotation position.

The second video we are incorporating his lower core into an upper body movement. Promoting proper pelvic position to keep his spine aligned while doing a upper body pushing movement.

Best wishes Joe, keep up the great work back at home!

🚨Client update🚨Michelle (C5) has been grinding away in the gym with us. The first video is from back in 2021 and the second was taken yesterday during her session with us! You can see the difference in assistance that is needed from then and now. She taking steps and locking her knees all without trainer assistance. Keep up the great work Michelle!

🚨Client Spotlight 🚨Brian (TBI) has been coming to us since April and he has made tremendous progress in a very short amount of time. Here’s a peek at some of the stuff that has been caught on video with us at PWB.

Video 1: Brian on the elliptical working on his posture and the mechanics of his gait.

Video 2 Brian working on passive range of motion of his weaker right shoulder on the edge of a table.

Video 3: recently Brian has been able to actively engage his right arm to do exercises like this! Incorporating a dynamic movement in his upper body while standing on an Airex pad was a big test of his balance

Video 4: finally, the most impressive of them all. Brian got to trying running again for the first time since his injury!

You are a rock star Brian keep it up!

Our Story

Project Walk Boston is owned by Jacqueline and Larry Arlen who first experienced Project Walk when their daughter, Victoria; spent a few weeks at the San Diego location. Victoria lives with Transverse Myelitis, a debilitating disease that causes injury to the spinal cord. After a year of training at the Project Walk Boston location, she is now walking. Her hard work and dedication proves that anything is possible.
