I offer 2 types of quilts: 1) Lapquilts made from donated clothing which are given to Veterans in need, sized to cover their legs and fit within a wheelchair, and 2) Heirloom quilts custom made from your military clothing and uniforms.

I'm working on a new quilt project and I get so excited with each one I create because each one is unique and special. If you haven't seen my work up close, I free motion quilt around each shirt design. It's hard for a photo to capture the effect, but I'm loving how the sails on this ship are popping.

This is a quilt I just completed that CVMA® 18-3 will be raffling soon. Each column represents the uniforms & colors of the 5 military Branches- from materials donated by Veterans (CVMA 18-3, 20-11, 20-3 and individual Veterans). All funds raised will go towards supporting Veterans. This raffle is open to anyone and your support is greatly appreciated!

This is the latest quilt top I finished. Each column has the uniforms from the 5 Branches 🇺🇸. (No, I don't have Space Force as no SF Veterans have donated uniforms as yet). This quilt will be raffled at CVMA® 18-3's annual Hunt in the Smokies (HITS) last weekend in April. All proceeds will go to helping Veterans. Now to baste together the layers and start quilting 😀

Hi Mayhem, we just presented your beautiful quilt to Brother Larry McClendon at Heart of Georgia nursing home. I had previously given him some CVMA T Shirts I had a Veteran bracelet and some new Vet Nam hats. Needless to say he was very moved as was I. Thank you Sweet Lady and give that big Hammbone a kiss and hug too.

Just finished this Lapquilt that will be presented to a Vietnam Veteran in a nursing home in GA. My brother "Pops" from CVMA® 20-11, whom I love & adore, found this Vet and reached out. Thank you, Pops! You know how I love doing this ❤️

Pops, a beloved Vietnam Vet, was one of the very first supporters of my Lapquilts for Veterans project and instrumental in us being able to visit the state nursing home and do a mass distribution to 30+ Veterans. Very emotional and memorable day.

This is how I support CVMA® in "Vets Helping Vets". I could not do it without support from my brothers & sisters just like Pops. They are ALWAYS looking out for each other.

All proceeds from every custom quilt I make go toward purchasing materials to make these Lapquilts that are donated to Vets in need. So thank you!
