We had a wonderful time celebrating St. Patrickā€™s Day here at Arcadia Care at Streator! šŸ’š

From festive treats and decorations to great company and lots of laughs, our residents enjoyed a day full of fun and Irish cheer. There may have even been a few leprechauns spotted along the way! ā˜˜ļøāœØ

Moments like these are what make our community so special ā€” bringing everyone together to celebrate, smile, and make lasting memories.

We are excited to spotlight Holly Chandler, LPN, a valued member of our team here at Arcadia Care at Streator!

Holly has been part of the Arc family for 7 years, bringing dedication, compassion, and a great sense of humor to her role every day. Her favorite color is baby blue, and one fun fact about Holly is that everyone jokes she has robotic arms because of how fast and efficient she is!

When she is not caring for residents, Holly enjoys watching true crime and horror movies and shows.

What Holly looks forward to most when coming to work each day is spending time with her residents, who make her job meaningful and rewarding.

One thing she is especially proud of at Arc at Streator is the HR departmentā€™s emotional support candy jar, which always helps brighten the day.

This week we are proud to highlight Iliana Gomez, CNA!

Iliana has been part of the Arcadia Care at Streator family for 4 years. She originally joined our team in 2022 as a Resident Attendant, and in 2023 she completed the CNA program through ARC. Today, she continues to grow professionally and is currently enrolled in nursing school, working toward the next step in her healthcare career.

When asked what she enjoys most about coming to work, Iliana shared that she looks forward to seeing her coworkers and grabbing a crisp, refreshing Diet Coke from DoorDash. She says one of the things she is most proud of about Arcadia Care at Streator is the amazing staff she gets to work alongside every day.

ā€¢ Fun fact: She is under 5 feet tall

Today we had a very special visitor, Timber, stop by to spend time with our residents. Moments like these are always so meaningful. The joy and comfort that animals bring can truly brighten someoneā€™s day.

Pet visits are wonderful therapy for our residents. From gentle pets to warm smiles, these furry friends quickly become part of our extended family.

Congratulations to Gina Kmetz-Pfalzgraf, the lucky winner of our raffle!

Gina is the proud mom of our very own DON, Keshya Campbell, who will be taking the prize home! Keshya is an immensely valued member of our team and truly beloved by our residents, staff, and the Streator community. We are so grateful for the leadership, compassion, and dedication she brings to Arc at Streator every single day.

A special moment made this drawing even sweeter our resident Lisa asked to be the one to pull the winning name! We love creating opportunities for our residents to be part of the fun.
