Happy 95th Birthday to this amazing lady, Geri Hux! Geri’s daughters made sure she had plenty of her favorite thing to share with all of us… chocolate! 🍫
Geri is 95 today and is our most active participant in activities! She doesn’t miss a game of Bingo, she’s awesome at puzzles, likes to craft and loves her cappuccino! ❤️

One of our beloved residents at Villas of Hollybrook, Sarasota, Lois Leavitt has turned 100 years old today August 8, 2025!

From her stories about her world travels as a military spouse, to her years spent as a teacher developing young minds, Lois continues to inspire everyone around with her vibrant spirit and wisdom. Despite the milestone, Lois remains remarkably young at heart—full of life, laughter, and global experiences that span a century. She loves to color. She loves Bingo. She loves to go and have her hair done. She attends all activities and will try anything once. She loves chocolate. She likes to walk. She has a big family. She still attends her son’s church.

Here we are celebrating this milestone with her friends, family, and members of our community.

This barn started out as a mess of techniques that Jessica was trying but it turned out kinda neat. As Bob Ross famously quoted -We don’t make mistakes, just happy little accidents.”

We definitely have some talented artists here! Such fun we had this afternoon. 🖼️ We showcased their beautiful work and enjoyed several different types of cheese.🧀
Hopefully this will inspire others to try something new! A few of our artists never painted until moving in with us, proving that it is never too late to pick up a new hobby!
