Lake effect rain will mix with snow late this afternoon before changing to all snow inland tonight, with accumulating snow likely for portions of the primary snowbelt tonight. For this reason, a Winter Weather Advisory has been issued from 8 PM this evening to 11 AM Wednesday for southern Erie County, PA. Slippery, snow-covered roads and visibilities of 1/2 mile or less, through early Wednesday morning will lead to hazardous road conditions, possibly affecting the morning commute. Heavy, wet snow accumulations could also result in isolated damage to deciduous trees and power lines.
