Yesterday was National Paper Airplane day! During Bingo we took a moment to try our hand at making paper airplanes and flying them around the dining room. The residents had a wonderful time making and throwing their paper airplanes. Some of the staff need educated on how to make paper airplanes, as they couldn’t participate as they weren’t sure how to make them.

Last week our ladies were invited to a Ladies Day lunch at the Strom center in Oquawka. They all had a wonderful time and can’t wait to go back next year.

Today was National Leap Frog day. In honor we had some jumping frogs 3d printed for our residents and we played leap frog before bingo with them. The residents had a wonderful time. There are a couple videos in the comments.

The residents made garland for their doors last week. Thank you to everyone for your help with this craft. Leann tore the fabric for them and Christa helped with the craft itself. They all did a wonderful job

Happy Mother’s Day to all our wonderful moms at Oak Wood Estates. Yesterday we had our Mother’s Day tea and the set up was gorgeous and everyone had a great time.
