looking to grow its team and is in need of a full time CPC (certified professional coder). NCDS offers a dynamic

Job Description: Daily responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
• Interpreting surgical/op notes/medical records for correct CPT entry and submission to insurances
• Reviewing patient demographics to ensure correct coding based on insurance, diagnosis and modifier
submissions to insurance for reimbursement
• Review and/or audit coding for compliance and make any pertinent recommendations to the client
• Reviewing, researching and submitting coding appeals for denied surgical/specialty procedures (document
and website submission)
• Contacting insurances to dispute erroneous denials related to claim submissions with regard to claims
rejected for coding/modifiers/LCD/diagnosis issues
Qualifications: The ideal candidate should possess a CPC for a minimum of 2 years and have surgical/specialist
coding experience (such as cardiology, pulmonology, neurology, OB/GYN, rheumatology, orthopedics, etc.) as well
as strong investigational/problem solving skills.
We need a candidate with a self-disciplined and conscientious,
organized and capable of working independently and with others in an often stressful job atmosphere that is fast paced and dynamic.
A “can do” attitude and mastery of computer skills (typing, 10-key, Google
sheets/docs/meet/calendar, Adobe, insurance websites, utilizing scanned documents, dual monitors, EMRs,
hospital systems such as Epic, E-Clinical, ECW are a plus) are also required.
For the Employee: A competitive wage ranging between $19 - $25/hour depending on experience and
performance.
