😵‍💫 Unable to consistently tell time?
🫢 Frequently missing assignments?
😳 Overwhelmed with chores/homework?
🫥 Forgetting equipment/materials for extra-cirriculars/sports?

🙋‍♀️If you answered yes to any of these questions, your kiddo might benefit from some extra help developing the concept of time. This workshop does not promise to solve the above listed problems, but it will help them become more confident in time management skills before they start the new school year. We will provide practical tools and strategies that can be further practiced and implemented at home.

So fortunate to be on vacation with my family this week! Serving all of you at Buckeye Speech Path has been a huge honor and privilege, and has allowed me much needed time away! Grateful I get to recharge with my peeps this week - I’ll be ready to see you next week! JoBeth Is holding down the fort until I get back ♥️.

When ever I’m on vacation, I never take for granted how fortunate I am to have an able body, and a family that can easily access things they deem fun. I was pleasantly surprised to see so many beach wheelchairs, and stopped to talk to a few families enjoying the chairs! Wecame across this sign - brand new starting this week! Way to go Myrtle Beach! If you needed a reason to visit, maybe this is it 😁🌊👙🏖️!

When recovering from Aphasia, re-learning "reading" and "writing" can be very challenging. I love using these buttons to help people feel confident in knowing the word is correct, repeating from a prompt, and to practice writing a word while saying it out loud. I realize in the video I was saying "articles" of speech; however, my buttons in this example include prepositions, verbs, etc. Basically, you can use them in a variety of ways, for anything that needs VERBAL and VISUAL prompts.
