In honor of Martin Luther King Jr., we are recycling for Earth Month for our April Act of Service! Our resident ambassador, Elizabeth heads up our recycle program and takes the recycled paper to St. Joseph Church where they get money that goes towards the school!

April is Deaf History Month and today, our Resident Services Director, Jill taught a class on American Sign Language. We learned the alphabet, how to spell out our names, the days of the week, manners and greetings and a few animals. We also learned that there are over 300 distinct sign languages used worldwide! Fascinating!

It’s Garden Week and today our Plant Operations Director, Noel beautified our Memory Care Courtyard by planting some lovely spring flowers! We filled our flower beds with hyacinths and tulips and we can’t wait to watch them continue to bloom! 🌷
