OTF Strongsville… meet your March Member of the Month – JAMES LEWIS! 🍊🔥
James is the definition of commitment, resilience, and heart. Since returning to OTF, he has completely set the tone in our studio. He shows up consistently, is one of the hardest workers in the room, and brings positive energy that lifts everyone around him. He’s the kind of member who makes our community stronger just by walking through the doors.
A few years ago, James stepped away due to an injury—but he never lost sight of his goals. He came back determined to rebuild his strength, improve his endurance, and make lasting lifestyle changes so he can keep up with his kids and all of their activities. And let us tell you… he is doing just that. 💪
James loves the fast-paced workouts, the challenge of our HYROX classes, and the focused grind of our evening strength sessions. (And coaches… he wouldn’t mind a little more rock in the playlists 🎸😉.)
One of his favorite milestones? The 500m row. While he didn’t hit his PR this time, his mindset says it all — he’s already focused on the next opportunity to crush it.
But here’s what truly inspires us…
About eight years ago, James weighed nearly 430 pounds. Through nutrition changes, countless 5Ks, and his dedication to OTF, he has lost close to 170 pounds. 🤯👏
That kind of transformation doesn’t just happen. It takes grit. It takes consistency. It takes showing up even when it’s hard.James is a devoted father, husband, friend, and one of the kindest, most encouraging humans you’ll meet. He embodies what it means to trust the process and build progress one class at a time.
