We first met this awesome young patient when she was just 11 years old. She had some tricky bite issues — including crossbites and a narrow upper jaw. These problems can affect everything from chewing and speaking to facial development and confidence.

✨Another Aligner Transformation✨

Hey gang, Dr. Standridge here. I wanted to share this awesome patient’s story.

This patient came to us with:

🔹 Severe Overjet
🔹 Severe Overbite
🔹 Late Stage Mixed Dentition

She was very self conscious about her smile, and she had told us that she had been mocked and made fun of for years because of her teeth. And because of already being mocked for her teeth, she and mom wanted to avoid the braces route if she could.

I was more than willing to give it a go, but I STRESSED the need for compliance. Luckily she was very motivated.

Because we had to use eruption compensation planning, it did take a few phases of treatment which I expected. But because of her patience and compliance, we got an outstanding result.

Now she has more than just straight teeth, but she has confidence in her smile. This is what it’s all about!

He is committed to ongoing education and staying at the forefront of dental advancements to provide the highest quality care to his patients. He is also a teacher and lecturer in the field of orthodontics. Outside of the office he enjoys spending time with his wife Sara Joy and two daughters.
