Thankful Thursday

We are so grateful to Senator Rosemary Brown for taking the time to visit the Pregnancy Resource Center of the Poconos last week. It was a privilege to share more about the services we offer and the families we serve. We deeply appreciated her willingness to listen, learn, and engage with our mission.

April is abortion Recovery Awareness Month. This month we are focusing on women who have been through our center's After Abortion Care program. These women have walked through Forgiven and Set Free with one of our Client Advocates.

The post abortive study, Forgiven and Set Free was written by women, for women who are post abortive. The healing that is obtained can relieve days or decades of pain, guilt, regret and doubts. If you or someone you know has an abortion in their past, don’t hesitate to reach out for help. Healing is available and you too can be forgiven and set free!

Thankful Thursday
We are so grateful to the Salvation Army for their generous donation of diapers, formula, and snacks for the moms we serve! 💛

We continue to be in awe of the Lord’s perfect provision. Time and time again, He provides exactly what is needed—right when it’s needed most. Just last week, as needs were growing, we received a call from Richard and Kaylynn from the Salvation Army, who arrived with an abundance of diapers.

What a beautiful reminder that God sees every need and faithfully provides through His people. We are so thankful to be part of His work! ✨

April is Abortion Recovery Awareness Month.

Many people carry the weight of a past abortion—often quietly. In fact, a significant number of women and men were attending church regularly at the time of their abortion decision. This is a reality that exists within our own communities and congregations.

Abortion can leave lasting emotional and spiritual wounds, but healing is possible.

As you pray and support the work of the Center, we invite you to help create space for hope, restoration, and compassionate care. 🤍

Because of your support, women have a safe place to be heard, supported, and cared for during some of life’s hardest moments. This client’s words are a reminder of the impact your generosity make every day.

We’re also hearing a desire for more late-night appointments, something that would serve many women balancing work and family. While this isn’t something we’re able to offer right now, we are prayerfully seeking God’s guidance for the future.

We invite you to join us in praying for wisdom, provision, and direction as we continue this work. Thank you for being part of what God is doing at the PRCP.
