STOP! Have you ever wondered why your Myer's Cocktail has a red-yellow color to it?!
It's all about the molecules in the B vitamins and how they absorb light.
🟨B-complex contains B2 (Riboflavin) which has a "flavin ring system" that absorbs blue-violet light. When blue-violet light is absorbed, the remaining light we can see is YELLOW!
🟥B12 is the only vitamin with a metal atom, which sits inside a "corrin ring" that absorbs blue-green light. The remaining light we see after the blue-green light is absorbed appears RED!
