As you can see by this picture , our Fall fundraiser was a great success! Thank you to everyone who donated raffle items to support the Monroe County Hospice House $ 2632.25 total money raised !!!
Also, 33 pints of blood were donated today in honor of Alyssa Oxenford Memorial Blood Drive! We exceeded our 20 gallon goal! Alyssa , your family was all here in your honor today ! We hope you are looking down proudly at each one of them!
A huge shoutout to the best teammates that work at our center for all the planning , setting up, tearing down, selling tickets, doing health screenings, selling food, giving blood, baking for the bake sale , giving tours , getting signs made, walking the local streets getting donations, and posting flyers . We couldn’t have done it without each and everyone of you!
A very special thank you to Jessica Hartshorn for your endless hard work coordinating this entire day for us and Brianna Boyd for assisting her!
Thank you to our surgeons and office staff that set up tables and educated visitors on each of their specialties, as well as, your generous donations!!
Thank you East Stroudsburg and Northampton Monroe Campus nursing students and East Stroudsburg Lacross players for helping us today! You guys were great!
Thank you to Jack Bravyak , Twins DJ my husband, for playing that music and keeping everyone going, to all our family and friends that came out to support our fundraiser , the radio stations 96.7 and 93.5 for allowing us to advertise and be on the radio , and the Stroudsburg and East Stroudsburg community for becoming a family with us !
To all you Eagle Fans, because of the generous donations by our surgeons (filling up the bucket with tickets with their names) , Dr Smith , was the recipient of the autographed jersey graciously donated by Lackawanna Mobile X-ray!
No one should have to die alone and we hope and pray that each and every little bit we all do will continue to keep Hospice House open for many years to come!
