Today is the Kentucky Derby! The Kentucky Derby is the oldest continuously running sporting event in the U.S.

With more than 25 years of experience, Cheri exemplifies what it means to be a true financial steward. She ensures the business office runs seamlessly while also guiding residents and their families through complex processes such as insurance questions and Medicaid transitions with clarity, patience, and care.

Cheri's impact reaches far beyond her role. She is deeply involved in the daily life of our community, participating in resident activities, supporting programs like Meals with Meaning, concierge services, and is consistently stepping in wherever help is needed. Whether she is assisting with meal pass, engaging with residents and families, or contributing to retention efforts and Saber Strong fundraisers, Cheri leads by example through her hands-on approach and genuine commitment. She is actively involved in our A Team efforts and is always willing to help improve our residents stay at Whitestone.

Cheri is a vital leader and an invaluable member of our team. We are truly grateful for her unwavering dedication and the positive impact she makes every single day.

Cheri, our Business Office Director, recently spent time at a local independent living community connecting with residents over a special lunch prepared by Miss Debbie.

Along with sharing a great meal, everyone had the opportunity to learn more during an informative session led by Cheri, who provided helpful guidance on Medicare and Medicaid requirements for skilled nursing care. It was a wonderful mix of good food, meaningful conversation, and valuable education.
