Monroe Hearing Aid Center is a full-service Audiology facility offering complete hearing testing and evaluation, sales, service and repairs on all makes of hearing aids. We are proud to say we have been family owned and operated for nearly 50 years. We also have locations in Stroudsburg, Tobyhanna at the Mountain Healthcare Center, Brodheadsville, and Moscow. All offices are fully handicap accesible. Evening and Saturday hours are also available in all offices by appointment only. Denise is a second-generation Hearing Instrument Specialist. Her father, Tom, established Monroe Hearing Aid Center in 1972. Denise has been licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Health since 1984 and has been in practice for over 30 years. Eileen is a third-generation Hearing Instrument Specialist. She was previously in the medical field for over 10 years as a Cardiovascular tech. She has been licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Health since 2011. Eileen is also fluent in American Sign Language.
Dr. Megan Hunt is a clinical Audiologist who obtained her doctoral degree in Audiology from the George S. Osborne College of Audiology at Salus University and did her fellowship at the University of Virginia Health system. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Biobehavioral Health from Pennsylvania State University.
Dr. Megan Hunt earned her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. She is licensed in Audiology by the Pennsylvania State Board of Examiners in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology and is authorized by this board to fit and dispense hearing aids. Monroe Hearing Aid Center participates in Hear Now, which is a program that provides free hearing aids to people who cannot afford to pay for them. The patient must meet income quidelines and complete an application before being approved for assistance.
